DIMOS Maschinenbau GmbH is a specialist for individually manufactured warehouse and industrial trucks with electric drive. DIMOS specializes in adapting vehicles precisely to the respective application and environment, thus enabling optimum material flow. Founded in 1993 by Dieter Modrey and Alfred Schütz in Fulda, DIMOS is in demand worldwide as a supplier of high-quality vehicles "Made in Germany". The company currently sells its products through more than 40 sales partners on four continents. DIMOS' customers come from the aerospace, automotive, mining, metal, wood and textile industries, among others.
ProduCtS
All DIMOS vehicles are characterized by an electric drive and a modular design. Thanks to a modular system, the company is able to tailor vehicles precisely to all areas of application in the warehouse environment.
For example, weather-related requirements can be taken into account and the load capacity of the vehicles can be varied in the range between one and over 100 tons, depending on the intended use.
The core product of DIMOS are electric multidirectional sideloaders , which enable particularly efficient energy management and very long operating times thanks to modern lithium-ion technology. Robust, compact, flexible and equipped with electric drive , the trucks are characteristic for the entire product portfolio of DIMOS. With platform trucks, compact trucks, low-lift trucks, reach trucks and straddle carriers designed and manufactured in-house, DIMOS offers efficient solutions for all applications in logistics. In addition, the company produces an increasing number of driverless transport systems, for example in the field of coil transport.

ERGONOMY
A DIMOS forklift is the workplace of logistics employees for up to 15-20 years. Accordingly, it is important that the drivers feel comfortable on the forklift and get along well with the vehicle. With a panoramic cab for 360° all-round visibility, DIMOS minimizes potential hazards for the driver and other employees during forklift operation . In addition, the vehicles' zero emissions and very low noise levels ensure a pleasant working environment. In order to be able to make further optimizations, DIMOS is happy to welcome warehouse employees for a preliminary discussion and thus include them in the planning.
Service
DIMOS specializes in small batch production - all products are created in close coordination with the subsequent users. In order to be able to take into account as many individual customer requirements as possible, the DIMOS team always prepares a 3D model of the later solution before the start of production and discusses this with the customer. In this way, even small details can be adapted. Such a high level of precision combined with short response times can only be found at DIMOS.
