MODULAR INDUSTRIAL SIDELOADERS FROM DIMOS
FLEXIBLE CONFIGURATION AND CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT OF SIDELOADERS
Electrically driven, emission-free and modular - these are the flexible electric multidirectional sideloaders from manufacturer DIMOS in Petersberg near Fulda. With its own design and development department, the specialist for special vehicles has been designing and manufacturing forklifts according to individual customer specifications for 25 years. The vehicles originate from a modular system and can thus be precisely tailored to all areas of application in the warehouse environment.
Founded in 1993 by Dieter Modrey and Alfred Schütz in Fulda, DIMOS stands for individual industrial trucks "Made in Germany", which are in demand worldwide. DIMOS attaches great importance to its service quality and fast production, which is guaranteed thanks to in-house design and development. "We specialize in small series production and always develop our products in close consultation with subsequent users. In doing so, we take individual customer requirements into account. We always develop a 3D model of the later solution before the start of production and discuss this with the customer. This allows us to fine-tune even small details in advance," explains Pascal Schütz, responsible for sales and development at DIMOS.
POWER PACKS WITH 360° ALL-ROUND VISIBILITY
Equipped with robust, virtually maintenance-free electric motors, the heavy-duty electric multidirectional sideloaders can be used in the rain without any problems. Further flexibility is offered by the compact design of the trucks, which enables small turning radii. Despite their compactness, the trucks prove to be powerhouses with a load capacity of up to 35 tons. The enormous performance of the forklifts is also due to the use of modern lithium-ion technology, which enables particularly efficient energy management and very long operating times. The decisive factor for success is that all elements are fully developed and optimally matched to each other. This also applies to the aspects of safety and ergonomics. With a panoramic cab for 360° all-round visibility, DIMOS minimizes potential hazards for the driver and other employees during forklift operation . In addition, the vehicles' zero emissions and very low noise levels ensure a pleasant working environment. "For up to 15 years, a DIMOS truck is the workplace of logistics employees. Accordingly, it is very important to us that the drivers are satisfied with their trucks and we are pleased that our customers increasingly involve their employees in the planning ", says Pascal Schütz.
OPTIMAL PRODUCT CONTROL - EVEN AT DIZZYING HEIGHTS
In order to be able to hold their own in all transport tasks in and around the warehouse, the electric multidirectional sideloaders are available in many different versions: optionally with short or long fork carriage, with elevating cab and with an order picking platform. When it comes to maneuvering goods with low intrinsic deflection such as pallets, mesh boxes and thick plywood through the warehouse with millimeter precision and placing them on trucks, the forklift with a short fork carriage is in demand. Its counterpart with a long fork carriage, on the other hand, is used to transport long and bulky loads with a length of up to 30 meters, such as thin metal and long plastic profiles. For operations at heights of up to 14 meters, the electric multidirectional sideloader can be equipped with an elevating cab. This ensures full control at all times during loading and unloading, even with high racking systems, and reduces machine times. A liftable platform even makes it possible to pick directly from the racking when operating at height. DIMOS addresses individual customer requirements in the design of the platform, offering maximum flexibility.
